The Portland Chapter of Women for WineSense invites you to attend our program "Women in Wine" ~ a Signature Event with Women for WineSense. Learn about the history and contribution women have made in the wine industry, along with thoughts on new wine trends and developments! Winemaker Elizabeth Clark's road to Airlie Winery took some twists and turns; discover the stories behind the wines presented. The program starts at 6:00 p.m.
This special program will be held at Meriwether' Restaurant, located in the historic 2601 NW Vaughn building, on the site of the famous 1905 World's Fair. Chef Tommy Habetz combines the technique and soul of French, Italian and Spanish countryside cooking. With a true love for culinary history and traditional cuisines, Chef Habetz has designed a culinary menu paired especially with wine presented for our program.
